Honouring Savanna’s Memory – Supporting Asthma Australia

Dear Family, friends, sponsors and the wonderful community.

We’ve created this special memorial page in honour of our beautiful daughter, Savanna — our beloved Little Red — who tragically passed away from asthma on August 2, 2020.

Since her passing, our family has been dedicated to honouring her memory by supporting the important work of Asthma Australia. With your kindness and generosity, we’ve already raised over $45,000 to help improve the lives of those affected by asthma and help discover a cure. 

This year, we’re aiming to reach a milestone of $50,000 raised in Savanna’s name. 

By donating today, you’ll be honouring Savanna’s legacy and helping fund:

  • Lifesaving asthma research to discover new medications and to find a cure.
  • Vital education and support programs.
  • Advocacy and training to empower the nearly 2.8 million Australians with asthma.

Could provide resources such as Asthma First Aid and an Asthma Action Plan, and information on how to live well with asthma.

$50 could fund an Asthma Education Kit for a community nurse. This enables a community nurse to train people in device technique, helping them to manage their asthma.

Can enable an Asthma Educator to provide life-saving information to someone who calls the 1800 ASTHMA (1800 278 462) information line.

Could go towards research into preventing and treating asthma. The Asthma Australia Research Program is the country’s only fund dedicated exclusively to asthma research.
