We are raising funds for Asthma Australia
The Sunshine Cowboys Sports Club will be honouring the memory of Khage Maiava who passed away from an asthma attack.
From Friday 19 June to Sunday 21 June, the Sunshine Cowboys Sports Club will dedicate Round 7 of this year's rugby league competition to the memory of Khage, whose life was tragically lost to asthma.
Khage's passing is a heartbreaking reminder that asthma is serious. For nearly 2.8 million Australians living with asthma, it can be a serious and life-threatening disease. In honour of Khage's life, the Sunshine Cowboys community is coming together to raise awareness of asthma and funds for Asthma Australia, helping ensure more Australians have access to the information, education and support they need to manage their asthma and stay safe.
Why we're fundraising.
Every day, Asthma Australia helps people better understand and manage their asthma through trusted information, education programs and support services.
Your donation can help:
• Provide trusted asthma information and resources for individuals and families.
• Support education programs that help Australians better manage their condition.
• Raise awareness about the seriousness of asthma and the importance of asthma management.
• Advocate for improved asthma care and support across Australia.
Together, we can help create a future where fewer families experience the loss and heartbreak caused by asthma.
Every donation, no matter the size, is a tribute to Khage and a commitment to helping others breathe easier.
Thank you for standing with Khage's family, the Sunshine Cowboys Sports Club and Asthma Australia.
