I’m hosting a fundraiser to support Asthma Australia achieve their purpose to help people to breathe so they can live freely.
Because one in every nine Australians are directly impacted by asthma, and so many people with asthma end up in hospital, I’m bringing everyone together to raise funds and to show my support and to help improve the lives of people living with asthma.

Favourite Characters Dress-Up Day – Supporting Asthma Awareness
Friday 5th JunAt activekids preschool , we recognise the importance of building connections between children's interests, learning experiences, and meaningful community events. This year, we are excited to host our Favourite Characters Dress-Up Day, where children are invited to come dressed as their favourite superhero, princess, book character, or other beloved character.
Children's favourite characters play an important role in their learning and development. Through imaginative play, storytelling, role-playing, and creative expression, children develop confidence, communication skills, social connections, and a strong sense of identity. Dressing up allows children to share their interests with friends, celebrate their individuality, and engage in rich conversations about the characters they admire.
This special event also provides an opportunity to raise awareness about asthma, a condition that affects many children and families within our school and wider community. By connecting children's enthusiasm for dress-up and imaginative play with a meaningful cause, we can help children learn about caring for others, showing empathy, and supporting community wellbeing.
As part of our Favourite Characters Dress-Up Day, we will be fundraising for the Asthma Foundation. Donations are entirely voluntary, and all funds raised will contribute towards supporting asthma education, awareness, and services for individuals and families living with asthma.
We encourage all children to participate by dressing up as a favourite character and joining in a day filled with fun, creativity, friendship, and community spirit. Together, we can celebrate children's interests while making a positive difference for those affected by asthma.
