I’m selling something to raise funds for Asthma Australia
Magnus and Angus (both from Year 4) started with a small idea of wanting to raise money for Asthma Australia - a charity close to Angus' heart, because Angus lives with severe asthma.
They wanted to raise awareness of the prevalence of asthma in the community and funds to help more people suffering from asthma.
With support from home and the school leadership team, the boys organised an Author's Reading session to introduce their book to gain interest prior to the sale.
The support from the
students and staff was phenomenal.
The boys created two comic books - written by Magnus and illustrated by Angus – and sold them to the St Anthony's community!

The comics were a hit with the St Anthony’s
students and staff who gladly donated $1 (or more) to purchase their own book.
With the help of a few close mates, the boys raised $181 by selling almost 100
Comic Books to members of the school community!
